ESP
deadside esp
This gameplay guide to deadside esp covers Player ESP, Box, Skeleton, Name, Corpse, and View Line. Most deaths here are not fair 1v1s. Someone is already watching the metro, the mission crate, or your base wall.
Why ambushes define Deadside PVP
Deadside 1.0 runs full PVP, PVE, PVP with no raids, and PVP with scheduled raids. On full PVP and raid windows, the third party is the real boss. PVE still has NPC camps, but players cannot shoot you.
Safe zones are green circles with traders and metro travel between the north quarry and south bus station. Everything outside those rings is a sightline. Player ESP turns that hidden layer into shapes you can read before the first shot.
Box, skeleton, name, and view line
Box
Box is the fastest read past 150 meters. Use it on ridges, airfields, and town edges. If the overlay is loud in a tight compound, keep Box and cut Name.
Skeleton
Skeleton shows pose through brush and window frames. You see a crouch, a vault, or a pre-aim. That is how you stop walking into a holding angle.
Name and View Line
Name splits a pair that went around a building. View Line shows where they look. A camper staring at your door is a straight line. A team rotating off your extract is a moving one.
Pair visuals with a Hold aim key from the deadside aimbot setup guide so you do not spray the first box you see.
Corpse ESP when kits stay in the world
Your character despawns when you log off. Gear on the body stays until someone loots it. Corpse ESP marks that bag so you can recover after a crash or clean a fight you did not start.
On PVE this is mostly recovery. On full PVP it is a race. Scheduled raid hours stack bodies around one base. Leave Corpse on for those windows.
BattlEye is kernel-level. After a patch, confirm Status before you trust an old visual build. Then loot with the resource radar so you do not overfill on junk rifles.
Save a “raid window” layout in the config management guide: Box, View Line, Corpse on, names off.
If you want the commercial hub after this visual pass, open deadside cheats for the Windows license, then come back and copy the raid layout.
FAQ
Do I need every visual toggle at once?
No. Box plus View Line covers most ambushes. Add Skeleton in towns. Add Name when two squads collapse. Turn extras off if the screen is noisy.
Why is View Line so useful on raid servers?
Whole teams stare at one wall during the raid window. The line tells you who is pre-aimed on your door before you peek.
Does corpse ESP matter on PVE?
Yes for recovery. Your kit still sits on the despawned body. It matters more on full PVP because other players can take it.
Should I hide names in close fights?
Often yes. Tags clutter doorways and stairs. Keep Box and View Line. Bring names back for long rotates.
What do I do after a BattlEye-related game patch?
Wait for Status, load the matching overlay, then test ESP on PVE before a PVP queue.
